How is the story of David intimately connected to the story of Jesus? This is the fourth full episode in a five-part series entitled “The Christ” where we are looking at five different different characters from the Old Testament and seeing how their stories foreshadow what would eventually be fulfilled in Jesus the Christ.

God’s plan was to raise up a king from the family of David who will finally conquer evil and who will rule over the entire world forever. Jesus came to fulfill that plan by giving his life as a sacrifice for human sin and by defeating death itself and by being resurrected to the right hand of God as the King over the entire creation.
