Brian has been on our team since 2001 and is currently in his twentieth season serving players as the chaplain for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Brian played three years at the University of Louisville where he was fifth in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings in 1995. He went on to play five years of professional baseball with the Brewers and led the organization in appearances in 1997. His career was later cut short after tearing his ACL three times as well as his rotator cuff and labrum.
Brian was impacted by Campus Crusade and Fellowship of Christian Athletes while at Louisville and then got involved with Baseball Chapel during his professional career. In 1996, he went on a mission trip with UPI that he says changed him in ways that he never imagined. Brian coordinates our Arizona Men’s Retreat and Spring Training Bible Studies.
