Charlotte's  Web
Fern the daughter of a farmer here's that her dad is about to kill the little pig that is a runt...Fern is crushed. She begs her dad to spare the li'l pigs life.. good news - Wilbur is rescued.. Fern and Wilbur grow very close together in their friendship. They play together. She pushes him down the road in a carriage. Wilbur eats with fern and the family. They become tremendously attached. But later as Wilbur grows...the dad is forced to sale and get rid of Wilbur. Fern cries hysterically as she has to depart with her friend and buddy wilbur.

When is the last time you wept over someone being separated from their Lord and master? When is the last time your heart was crushed because of someone not knowing Jesus?

Matthew 9:36 "And seeing the multitudes, Jesus felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd."

compassion - splangkh-nid'-zom-ahee,  to have the bowels yearn, to feel sympathy, to pity ; to have compassion from the central core of your being.

distressed / downcast - rhipto, to fling with a quick toss, which denotes a deliberate hurl, which indicates an extended projection; by qualification, to deposit (as if a load); by extension to disperse :-cast (down, out), scatter abroad, throw.

Five Simple Truths About All People

John 13:34    "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

John 15:12    "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.

1 John 4:221  This commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also

Man's greatest need is to be loved and appreciated!!

2. People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care...

Matthew 12:7      'I desire compassion, and not a sacrifice...'

Matthew 14:14      And when Jesus went ashore, He saw a great multitude, and felt compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Matthew 15:32  Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, "I feel compassion for the multitude, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not wish to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."

Matthew 20:34      And moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him.

Col. 3:12    And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience...

3. Everybody that belongs to the body of Christ, belongs to everybody who belongs to the body of Christ...we are all family if we know Jesus.

Romans 12:5, 10. . .  so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. {10}  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

Ephes. 4:25  Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH, EACH ONE of you, WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.

We were all purchased for the same price! God see's no color!

4. Anybody who helps somebody, influences a lot of bodies...Encouragement spreads...keep helping...it matters...
